I’m a dumbtruck. It’s official.
On Tuesday night I left my PDM at my friend’s house. Luckily, one of the other attendees delivered it to my house a couple hours later.
Today I left it at school. Ugh. This is the downside of the OmniPod system being wireless. When something is attached to you, it’s a heck of a lot harder to forget.
The pod I’m wearing will continue to deliver my basal insulin, but I’m going to have to go old school with pens if I need to bolus tonight. I considered driving all the way back to school to get it (40 minutes round trip), but decided against it based on the temperature outside (7 degrees) and not actually caring that much. I’ll be back there tomorrow morning at 7am, and I’ll be asleep more hours tonight than I am awake.
Maybe it’ll keep me from eating junk food tonight.
